Eurodyne’s Maestro tuned 996 Turbo made it to the track in August
and again in late September and posted some impressive results with a best time
of 10.88 @ 137.5 MPH. Result was achieved on pump gas (94 Octane) using Kumho
Ecsta street radials at a full curb weight of 3,600 lbs
The 996 had a set Pauter rods installed last winter and is
equipped with TialSport A28 bolt on turbo kit www.tialsport.com all other engine
internals are stock. A set of USP Motorsports intercoolers www.USPMotorsports.com are
used along with a modified air intake system and allows us to run fender well
intakes. The custom Eurodyne maffless tune that retains traction
control and ABS functions was developed using our in house Mustang dyno and the
logging and editing features included in the Maestro
Tuning Suite.
This car is also a tester for our newest product the Eurodyne Boost
Manager Plus+ used to control boost and inject the water methanol needed to
optimize ignition timing.
Other mods include twin in tank Walbro fuel pumps and our
own 1000cc EV-14 based injectors recently added to our growing range of
product distributed on our online store. A custom fabricated 3” exhaust system
and ATS triple disk Carbon clutch complete the package.
